Beaconhills
School Magazine Cover 2005
By using a special breakdown
of black we were able to get the best from
the final printjob. Seemlessly matching the
back cover night shot to the front.

Contempora|2 Docklands
The Sculpture catalogue needed a sense of place, and physical space to bridge the gap between the printed 2D form and the 3D content. This was achieved using elements of the surrounding Docklands architecture.

To achieve better colour from your desktop printer you can use the same technology as commercial printers use.
A cheap printer even with non-original inks can get pleasing results if profiled correctly but is not up to the task of being a press proof.
The trick to making your profile work as well as it can is keeping the way you print the same. Changing paper, ink or program settings will alter the colour you output.
Please print the 3 downloadable pdfs to the right, carefully making sure you choose no colour adjustment in your output settings. We need an uncalibrated print file to read off.
If you have trouble with uncalibrated output please call Scott for instructions. Contact
Please allow the 3 pages to dry for at least 20 minutes before packing your A4 pages with a plain sheet of paper between them to avoid any colour transfer . A piece of card in the envelope will help the post office to not bend the envelope.
All profiles are generated
through the industry standard "Profilemaker Pro" using
an Greytag-Macbeth Eye one spectrometer
